Display recent items in Windows 7

The "recent items" appears in the start menu by default. It displays a list of the files you used recently.

See how to enable recent items in Windows 7

1-Click with the right mouse button on the task bar and choosing "Properties"
2-Choose the "Start Menu" tab.
3-Click on Customize.
4-Find the "recent items" and marks it.

 

5-check the start menu appears the "recent items".

Data Backup of the Firefox browser

This procedure is an alternative method to treat data backup of the Firefox browser when it is not possible to gain access by user profile, e.g., Browser, or Operating System corrupted Profile.


Goal
This procedure is an alternative method to treat data backup of the Firefox browser when it is not possible to gain access by user profile, e.g., Browser, or Operating System corrupted Profile.


Concept
Getting direct access to the user's profile folder, capturing the two folders that match the Profile of Firefox, both with the same name, e.g. YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT, follows:


BACKUP

1 perform backup of folders that correspond to existing Firefox Profile in the user profile, using as an example the profile called "YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT ":

D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Dados of aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT
AndSettings \ D:\Documents XXXX locais\Dados settings of aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

2 Preserve the backup in different folders that have the same name.


RESTORE

1 Copy the Profile Firefox respecting the same path shown above;

1 folder = C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT
2 folder = C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

2 If the directory structure does not exist on the destination computer, open the browser Mozila Firefox and close then;
   
3 With the restored backup, now need to point the Firefox Profile you want to use by changing the file "PROFILES.INI ":

3.1 open file PROFILES.INI FILE with Notepad, change the line "Path =" to the name of the Profile that you want, in our example "Path = Profiles/YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT ";

Backup dos dados do Navegador Firefox

Dica,

Este procedimento consiste em um método alternativo, para tratar do backup dos dados do Navegador Firefox quando não for possível obter acesso pelo perfil do usuário, ex: Browser, Perfil ou Sistema Operacional corrompido.


Objetivo
Este procedimento consiste em um método alternativo, para tratar do backup dos dados do Navegador Firefox quando não for possível obter acesso pelo perfil do usuário, ex: Browser, Perfil ou Sistema Operacional corrompido.


Conceito
Obtendo acesso direto a pasta do Perfil do usuário, capturar as duas pastas que correspondem a Profile do Firefox, ambas com o mesmo nome, ex.: YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT, segue:


BACKUP

 1     Realizar backup das pastas que correspondem a Profile Firefox existente no perfil do usuário, utilizando como exemplo a profile chamada “YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT”:

Windows XP
D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Dados de aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT
D:\Documents andSettings\XXXX\Configurações locais\Dados de aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

Windows XP x64 Edition
D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT
D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

Windows 7

 2     Preservar o backup em pastas diferentes já que possuem o mesmo nome.


RESTAURAR

 1     Copiar a Profile Firefox respeitando o mesmo caminho mostrado acima;

Pasta 1 = D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Dados de aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT
Pasta 2 = D:\Documents andSettings\XXXX\Configurações locais\Dados de aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

Para Windows 7
Pasta 1 = C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT
Pasta 2 = C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT

 2     Caso a estrutura de diretório não exista no computador de destino, abrir o navegador Mozila Firefox e fechar em seguida;
   
 3     Com o backup restaurado, agora precisa apontar a Profile Firefox que deseja utilizar, alterando o arquivo ”PROFILES.INI“:

Windows XP
D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Dados de aplicativos\Mozilla\Firefox\PROFILES.INI

Windows XP x64 Edition
D:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\PROFILES.INI

Windows 7
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\PROFILES.INI

 3.1     Abrir o arquivo  PROFILES.INI com o bloco de notas, alterar a linha “Path=” para o nome da Profile desejada, em nosso exemplo “Path=Profiles/YJ7X3EJ4.DEFAULT”;
