When you try to run the installation of SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express Edition SP3 on a machine with Windows 7 64 bit incompatibility the following error occurred: "Installation of this product failed because it is not supported on this operating system. For information on supported configurations, see the product documentation "
The Solution
See the step by step
1. download a new installer is compatible with Windows 7; the link http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/6/c/a6c820bb-9043-4ef6-8a7b-a0cd327cf8c5/SQLServer2005_SSMSEE_x64.msi
2. Open command prompt (CMD) as Administrator.

3. at the command prompt, navigate to the location where you saved the installation of SQL Server 2005, and then run the following command: MSIEXEC/I SQLServer2005_SSMSEE_x64.msi

4. follow the step of the installer-Basically, Next, Next, Next, Next and Install
If you follow this step by step if not the following error may occur:
error: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. this may indicate a problem with this package "

Ao tentar executar a instalação do SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express Edition SP3 em uma máquina com o Windows 7 64Bits, ocorreu o seguinte erro de incompatibilidade: "Installation of this product failed because it is not supported on this operating system. 1. Baixe um novo instalador compatível com o Windows 7; no link http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/6/c/a6c820bb-9043-4ef6-8a7b-a0cd327cf8c5/SQLServer2005_SSMSEE_x64.msi
2. Abra o prompt de comando (CMD) como Administrador.

3. No prompt de comando, navega para o local onde você salvou o instalação do SQL Server 2005 e em seguida execute o seguinte comando: MSIEXEC /I SQLServer2005_SSMSEE_x64.msi

4. Seguir os passo do instalador - Basicamente, Next, Next, Next, Next e Install
Se você deverá seguir esse passo a passo se não poderá ocorrer o seguinte erro:
