Error in installing Microsoft Office
You
are a machine administrator, try to install the Microsoft Office 2003
and receives a message that you need to be an administrator to perform
the installation.
See the message: "to install the Office product, you must be an administrator or have the Office product approved by an administrator. Contact the administrator for more information. " But you are the administrator.
You can resolve this problem by removing the MS Office Viewer and then reinstalling MS Office 2003
If the MS Office Viewer is not installed on your machine, follow this procedure:

If the MS Office Viewer is not installed on your machine, follow this procedure:
1. Step-on the Control Panel, open Add and remove programs
2. Step-Uninstall Microsoft Office 2003
3. Step-open REGEDIT and navigate key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
4. Step-Rename the key Office to Office.Old
5. Step-Reboot the machine and then install the Microsoft Office 2003
6. Step-Perform and test with the user, and then click ok.
