Verificamos que o Conversion Calculator não abria corretamente após a instalação do MS Project 2007, na abertura exibia a seguinte mensagem de erro:
"had the following unrecoverable error: Couldn't find library MSVCR80.dll"
Depois de alguns testes verificamos que o Conversion Calculator só funcionava com a substituição da dll MSOXMLMF.DLL
Solução:
O problema foi resolvido substituído a dll: C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\MICROSFT SHARED\OFFICE12\MSOXMLMF.DLL por: C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\MICROSFT SHARED\OFFICE11\MSOXMLMF.DLL
Feito isso o sistema Conversion Calculator funcionou com sucesso.

Recentemente tivemos alguns problemas na abertura de arquivos criados nas versões anteriores do Word 2010; isso foi resolvido da seguinte forma:
Para abrir arquivos .docx ou .docm do Microsoft Word 2010 com o Microsoft Office Word 2003, o Word 2002 ou o Word 2000, é necessário instalar o Pacote de Compatibilidade do Microsoft Office para Formatos de Arquivo do Word, Excel e PowerPoint 2007 e todas as atualizações do Office necessárias. Usando o Pacote de Compatibilidade para Formatos de Arquivo Open XML do Word, Excel e PowerPoint, é possível abrir, alterar alguns itens e salvar documentos do Word 2010 em versões mais antigas do Word.

Vide o passo a passo para solucionar esse problema:

Obs: Caso exista outro arquivo substitua o arquivo atual
3. Navegue novamente até a pasta ROSEBUD.PT-BR do CD do Office 2007 e execute o arquivo ROSEBUDMUI.MSI.

Lentidão para abrir arquivos do Word ou Excel na rede.
Pesquisando no site da Microsoft identificamos que o recurso para Validação de Arquivos do Office (Office File Validation -OFV) que estava causando o problema de lentidão na abertura de arquivos do Excel, Word ou PowerPoint nas pastas da rede.
Solução:
Esse problema poderá ser resolvido com desinstalação do “Microsoft Office File Validation Add-In” em "Painel de Controle" em seguida “Adicionar ou remover programas”.

Microsoft Excel 2007 não executa suplementos em versões anteriores - VBA
Descubra como resolver o problema de execução de suplementos criados nas versões anteriores ao Microsoft Excel 2007.
Na instalação do Excel 207, não são
habilitados os suplementos para projetos em VBA. Com isso, quando você for executar uma planilha que possui ferramentas VBA, como COMBO BOX - COMMAND BUTTON, vai receber mensagens de erros devido à falta de componente para gerenciamento do Visual Basic
Applications.
Para solucionar esse problema, siga os passo abaixo:
1. Clicar no Menu Iniciar - Configurações - Painel de Controle -
Adicionar e Remover Programas.
2. Selecionar o Excel 2007 e clicar em Modificar.
3. Nas opções da instalação, selecionar a opção de adicionar ou
remover recursos e selecionar os componentes de gerenciamento de projetos em
